We’re so glad that you’re reaching out to talk about the feelings you’re having. It sounds like you’re going through a very difficult time in your life. Feeling supported and understood by those we are close to is so important for our emotional and mental health. It sounds like feeling as though your loved ones don’t care about or understand you is causing you a tremendous amount of hurt and pain. Loneliness can be one of the most overwhelming emotions to bear.  It takes a lot of courage to reach out about such difficult thoughts, and we’re so glad to be able to support you.

Feeling so empty and lonely for a long period of time can cause depression. It sounds like you’re feeling as though you can’t manage these feelings on your own any longer. That is very understandable. Since we all have the need to feel close connections with others, continuing to reach out to people who can empathize with and support you in these feelings may be very helpful to you. Reaching out to a counselor, or a religious leader may help you to get the support you need. If you don’t have this available to you, or aren’t comfortable with those means of support, we want you to know you can always reach out to us.
