Question
Today my mom took away the only people that would talk to me regularly. She never listens to me and I just want to curl up somewhere so no one will find me and die. Nothing matters anymore and I don’t have anyone who cares.

We are really glad you are reaching out to us today. We can appreciate how overwhelmed and lonely you must be feeling as you conveyed in your email. Reaching out is the brave and wise thing to do, and we know it is not always easy to do. You are doing great reaching out today.
Losing so many friends so quickly can entice us to withdraw into ourselves. With no one to talk with, and it can feel like no one cares. We want you to know we care. While we may not be right there, we are here to talk and listen. Talking about our feelings can offer relief as we are not going through this alone. We can also discover ideas, options, and possible solutions that we would not discover by withdrawing into ourselves. Yes, it can seem hard, but you have already shown you have the strength and wisdom to reach out by emailing us today.
During times such as these, resilience is important. Often we have to make a proactive effort to start feeling better. I have included an article from the Tips/Tools section at the top of the home page that can help with getting that sense of resilience.
Also, feeling overwhelmed can make it difficult to focus as our feelings seem to be running over us. It is important to step back and take control over those things in our life we can control.
