Hope Is Lost

Question

I'm not exactly sure what to type. I've been contemplating suicide for the past few weeks, I've been depressed for a couple years but recently I've been seriously considering suicide I'm trying this before I seriously start planning and attempting tho. I just want to be happy but I can't no matter how hard I try. 3 years of trying and nothing. No improvement. I could even go as far as saying it's gotten worse. Hope is lost for me. But I'm stubborn so here I am.
