Question
My friend is having suicidal thoughts, and wants to kill herself because her boyfriend broke-up with her. She said she is going to drink rubbing alcohol.

We are glad that you are reaching out to help a friend. We highly recommend that you consider telling your own parent and ask if they will help you inform your friend's parent about this. Suicide is serious as you know and we want her to get help in the most effective way possible. Her parent can get her to a hospital, call a mental health professional who could assess her lethality or her parent can monitor her to make sure she doesn't attempt to harm herself or end her life.
This is too serious for you to handle on your own. You can also have your friend call the Boys Town National Hotline - 1-800-448-3000. We have counselors available to help her 24/7. Take some action. If you are currently in school, get a pass to talk with the school counselor about this so they can make the contacts needed to keep her safe.
